About the role
Most of what we ship is WordPress and WooCommerce: client sites, the occasional Shopify storefront, and bilingual landing pages with booking and lead routing built into them. Alongside that is Mission Control, our own Next.js dashboard that clients see their reporting in. Roughly half our work serves US Hispanic and Latin American businesses, so for the Miami role the Spanish side of a build is not an afterthought — it is half the deliverable. As a Web Developer you build and maintain that work, fix defects on live client sites, and make sure the English and Spanish versions of a page actually match.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain client sites in WordPress and WooCommerce — page templates, theme work, plugin configuration, and Shopify storefronts when a project calls for one.
- Build matched English and Spanish landing pages with lead capture, booking and lead routing, and keep the two language versions in sync as they change.
- Diagnose and fix defects on live client sites — broken layouts, forms that silently fail, slow pages, mail and DNS problems — and verify the fix against the live URL, not just locally.
- Contribute to Mission Control, our internal Next.js dashboard, on client-facing reporting and account features.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrable PHP and WordPress theme development — custom templates and hooks, not page-builder drag-and-drop. Send links to sites you have actually built.
- Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and enough Git to do your work on a branch without putting a live site at risk.
- Working Spanish, enough to read and QA Spanish page copy yourself. React or Next.js experience is a plus for the Mission Control side but is not required.
Schedule
Part-time, about 20–25 hours a week. The hours are largely yours to arrange, as long as they overlap weekday business hours enough for calls and handoffs. This is a hybrid role: primarily remote, with on-site time at our Miami office at Pipeline Workspaces, 8400 NW 36th Street in Doral, for planning and review sessions.
