About the role
We use AI heavily — for research, for first drafts, for automation — and we are open about that. What we do not do is let it own the voice. Every piece of client copy that leaves here has a person who decided what the business sounds like, what it is offering and what it will not claim. As Content Writer you are that person across website copy, landing pages, blog articles, email and ad copy, in English and Spanish.
What you’ll do
- Write and edit website and landing-page copy for client builds — homepages, service pages, location pages — including the matched Spanish version, not a machine translation of the English.
- Write blog articles and service-page content built around the keyword and page plans our SEO work produces, so what you write has somewhere to rank.
- Write email campaigns, newsletters and sequences, and the ad copy that paid media needs in both languages.
- Take AI first drafts and make them publishable: cut the filler, fix the claims, put the client’s actual offer and proof back in, and verify anything factual before it ships.
- Edit and proofread the long-form work we produce for clients, including ebooks and guides, for consistency, accuracy and tone.
What we’re looking for
- A portfolio of published commercial writing — marketing copy, not only personal essays — and the ability to say which parts of it were yours.
- Native-level English and strong written Spanish, or native Spanish with strong written English. Both languages are production languages here.
- Working knowledge of how search reads a page: headings, intent, internal links. You do not need to be an SEO, but you should not be writing against one.
- A healthy, specific scepticism about AI output. We want someone who uses the tools and still catches what they get wrong.
Schedule
Part-time, roughly 15–25 hours a week, largely on your own schedule — this is the most time-flexible role we have. Hybrid: mostly remote, with occasional on-site time at our Orlando office at Pipeline Workspaces, 20 North Orange Avenue, for briefing and review sessions.
About this posting
This is an open, evergreen posting. We keep it up whether or not there is a seat free this month, because the alternative — starting a search the week we need somebody — is how agencies end up hiring whoever is available instead of whoever is right. There is no deadline on it and no urgency to manufacture. If you are good at this, apply, and we will talk; if the fit is there and the work is not yet, we will tell you that honestly and keep your application on file.
Every application comes to us through this page. We do not post on Indeed or any other job board, and nobody at NeedAWebNow will ever ask you to pay for anything as part of applying.
