About the role
NeedAWebNow has been building websites and running campaigns for Central Florida small businesses since 2010, and a lot of those owners are far easier to reach in person than through an ad — at a chamber mixer, a small business expo, a weekend market. As Brand Ambassador for Orlando you are the agency at those events across Central Florida: you set up the table, start real conversations with owners, and send them away with a free digital audit booked.
What you’ll do
- Represent NeedAWebNow at events across Central Florida — expos, chamber mixers, markets and community events — including transporting, setting up and breaking down our table and signage.
- Explain what we do, and what the free digital audit actually includes, clearly enough that an owner with no technical background understands the offer.
- Capture qualified leads on the spot — name, business, contact details and what the business actually needs — and get them into Mission Control the same day, while the conversation is still accurate.
- Report back after each event: how many real conversations, how many audits booked, and your honest read on whether that event is worth attending again.
What we’re looking for
- Comfortable walking up to someone you have never met and holding a short business conversation without a script, and presentable at a professional event.
- Conversational Spanish is strongly preferred — a meaningful share of the Central Florida owners we work with prefer to do business in Spanish.
- Reliable transportation, the ability to carry and set up event materials, and genuine availability on evenings and weekends, which is when most of these events happen.
Schedule
Part-time and event-driven — typically 15–25 hours a week concentrated around scheduled events, with evening and weekend work expected. Events are confirmed with you at least a week in advance, so the hours vary week to week but are never a surprise. The role is based out of our Orlando office at Pipeline Workspaces, 20 North Orange Avenue, but the work itself is in the field across Central Florida.
