Home / Careers / Podcast & Audio Producer – Orlando (Hybrid)

About the role

We sell podcast production and audio work as its own line: launch packages, ongoing episode editing, growth and promotion, custom jingles and voiceover. Clients arrive with a phone recording, two mismatched tracks and an hour of material that needs to be forty minutes. As Podcast and Audio Producer you make that listenable, consistently, on a schedule, in English and Spanish.

What you’ll do

  • Edit podcast episodes end to end: cut, level, de-noise, remove the dead air and the false starts, and assemble intro, outro and ad reads into a consistent show.
  • Master to platform loudness standards so an episode does not arrive quieter or harsher than everything around it in a listener’s feed.
  • Produce launch assets for a new show — theme and stinger, episode template, cover art brief for our designers, and the distribution setup across the major directories.
  • Produce short promo cuts and audiograms from each episode for the social calendar.
  • Record, direct and edit voiceover in English and Spanish, and produce custom jingles and audio logos.

What we’re looking for

  • A portfolio of produced audio — podcasts, ads, voiceover or jingles. Send links we can listen to.
  • Fluency in a professional DAW and in restoration work. A lot of our source material is bad, and rescuing it is the actual skill.
  • Your own monitoring and a recording space that will not need fixing in post.
  • Working Spanish, enough to edit Spanish-language speech to the word rather than to the waveform.

Schedule

Contract, part-time — typically per episode or per project, roughly 8–20 hours a week depending on how many shows are active. Mostly remote, with occasional on-site time at our Orlando office at Pipeline Workspaces, 20 North Orange Avenue, for recording sessions.

About this posting

This is an open, evergreen posting. We keep it up whether or not there is a seat free this month, because the alternative — starting a search the week we need somebody — is how agencies end up hiring whoever is available instead of whoever is right. There is no deadline on it and no urgency to manufacture. If you are good at this, apply, and we will talk; if the fit is there and the work is not yet, we will tell you that honestly and keep your application on file.

Every application comes to us through this page. We do not post on Indeed or any other job board, and nobody at NeedAWebNow will ever ask you to pay for anything as part of applying.
