Remote — São Paulo. NeedAWebNow has no office in São Paulo and this posting does not mean we operate there. Our only two offices are in Orlando and Miami, Florida. We are building a bench of people we can call on as work scales, and this role is open to candidates based in or around São Paulo, Brazil, working remotely. Time zone: one to two hours ahead of US Eastern, so your afternoon is our morning.
About the role
This is the same design work as our Los Angeles posting, scouted in a second market so one city is not a single point of failure for it: brand work and production collateral for small-business clients, plus the template sets our social and email specialists work from. São Paulo is on the list because it has one of the largest commercial design communities in the hemisphere. To be explicit: NeedAWebNow has no office in São Paulo, no entity in Brazil, and no operations there. Our two offices are in Orlando and Miami, Florida.
What you’d do
- Design and redesign logos and produce the full delivery around them: vector files, favicon, card layout, and brand guidelines short enough to be followed.
- Design print and digital collateral — flyers, folders, promo and press kits, presentations, menus — to real print specs when it is going to print.
- Build the reusable social and email template sets, so routine posts do not come back to you.
- Produce web-ready assets for client builds, sized and compressed so they do not wreck a page’s load time.
- Vectorise and rescue the raw material clients send.
What we’d look for
- A portfolio covering both brand work and production collateral, with English or Spanish annotations we can read.
- Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign or a demonstrably equivalent toolchain, plus Figma or Canva for templates non-designers will edit.
- Working English — enough to take a brief, ask a clarifying question and hand work over. Our source briefs are in English and Spanish, not Portuguese.
- Print knowledge that transfers to US specs: letter and tabloid sizes, US bleed conventions, CMYK.
Working remotely from São Paulo
Fully remote, as an independent contractor, paid in USD at the same rate as the equivalent US-based role, arranged around project deadlines. You would be based in São Paulo, one to two hours ahead of our offices — your afternoon is our morning, which works well for asynchronous design handoffs. No office to come into and no claim that we operate in Brazil.
