Remote — Bogotá. NeedAWebNow has no office in Bogotá and this posting does not mean we operate there. Our only two offices are in Orlando and Miami, Florida. We are building a bench of people we can call on as work scales, and this role is open to candidates based in or around Bogotá, Colombia, working remotely. Time zone: the same clock as US Eastern for most of the year, so the working days line up.
About the role
Social is our largest service line and about half of what we produce is in Spanish, including content aimed squarely at Latin American audiences rather than at US Hispanic ones — they are not the same brief. Bogotá is on this list for that work and because its working day matches ours. NeedAWebNow has no office in Bogotá, no entity in Colombia, and no operations there; our two offices are in Orlando and Miami.
What you’d do
- Build and maintain monthly content calendars for several small-business accounts, mostly in Spanish, and keep them published rather than planned.
- Produce the posts: captions, graphics from brand templates, short vertical video from footage we have, scheduled through Mission Control’s content planner.
- Handle community management in Spanish — comments, DMs, reviews — within agreed response times, and escalate what needs the account strategist.
- Report monthly on what each account did, with an honest read on why, including the months where nothing moved.
What we’d look for
- Two or more years managing business accounts that were not your own, with examples we can look at.
- Native Spanish and working English — enough English to take a brief and report back.
- A real feel for the difference between writing for a Latin American audience and writing for a US Hispanic one, and the judgement to ask which a given client wants.
- Comfort producing simple graphics and short vertical video yourself — Canva, CapCut or equivalent.
Working remotely from Bogotá
Fully remote, as an independent contractor, paid in USD at the same rate as the equivalent US-based role, spread across weekdays rather than batched. You would be based in Bogotá — the same clock as US Eastern for most of the year. No office to come into, no on-site requirement, and no claim that we operate in Colombia.
