Remote — New York City. NeedAWebNow has no office in New York City and this posting does not mean we operate there. Our only two offices are in Orlando and Miami, Florida. We are building a bench of people we can call on as work scales, and this role is open to candidates based in or around New York City, United States, working remotely. Time zone: US Eastern — the same working day as both of our offices.
About the role
Email is the one channel our clients own outright, and for many of them the highest-return thing we do — provided it actually arrives. The role is half marketing and half plumbing: the campaign and the sequence, but also the authentication, list hygiene and sending reputation that decide whether any of it reaches an inbox. This posting is us scouting someone in New York for that work, remotely. NeedAWebNow has no office in New York and no operations in New York State; our two offices are in Orlando and Miami.
What you’d do
- Build and send campaigns and newsletters for client accounts, in English and Spanish, from brief to delivered report.
- Build automated sequences that do a job — welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement, appointment follow-up — and maintain them as the offer changes.
- Own deliverability: SPF, DKIM and DMARC alignment, sender reputation, bounce and complaint handling, list hygiene. A campaign in the spam folder is a failed campaign however it reads.
- Report on what each send actually did, and what you would change next time.
What we’d look for
- Two or more years sending commercial email for businesses other than your own.
- Practical deliverability knowledge — you should be able to read a DMARC report and explain why a domain is landing in promotions.
- Enough HTML and CSS to fix a template that breaks in Outlook, because one always does.
- Respect for consent rules, in both languages and both markets. Written Spanish is a plus.
Working remotely from New York City
Fully remote, with send days driving the schedule. You would be based in the New York metropolitan area. New York is US Eastern, the same clock as both our offices, which matters on a send day. No on-site requirement and no office to come into.
