Remote — Houston. NeedAWebNow has no office in Houston and this posting does not mean we operate there. Our only two offices are in Orlando and Miami, Florida. We are building a bench of people we can call on as work scales, and this role is open to candidates based in or around Houston, United States, working remotely. Time zone: US Central — one hour behind our offices.
About the role
Social media is the largest single service line we sell, and about half of the content we produce is in Spanish. That makes Houston — one of the biggest bilingual metros in the US — somewhere we would genuinely hire a social manager from. To be explicit: NeedAWebNow has no office in Houston and no operations in Texas. Our two offices are in Orlando and Miami. This posting exists so that when we next need bilingual social capacity, there is already a shortlist.
What you’d do
- Build and maintain monthly content calendars for several small-business accounts at once, in English and Spanish, and keep them published rather than planned.
- Produce the posts: captions, graphics from brand templates, short vertical video from footage we have, scheduled through Mission Control’s content planner.
- Handle community management — comments, DMs and reviews — within agreed response times, and escalate what needs the account strategist.
- Report monthly on what each account actually did, with a short honest read on why.
What we’d look for
- Two or more years managing business accounts that were not your own, with examples we can look at.
- Genuinely bilingual English and Spanish in writing. Half of what you produce would be in Spanish, and translated captions read as translated captions.
- Comfort producing simple graphics and short vertical video yourself — Canva, CapCut or equivalent.
- Reliability about dates. A calendar that slips is the one thing that loses a social client.
Working remotely from Houston
Fully remote, spread across weekdays rather than batched — community management does not batch well. You would be based in the Houston metropolitan area. Houston is US Central, an hour behind our offices, which matters mainly for when comments get answered. No on-site requirement and no office to come into.
